- Before you create a new topic, please be sure that you are in the correct category. This saves the Mods/Admin from having to move your topics to the correct category and also ensures that your topic will be replied to and viewed.
- Please make sure as well that you are not creating a duplicate topic. This ensures that the boards are not flooded by multiple threads of the same topic.
- Only Mods/Admin. are allowed to pin topics. If you wish to have a topic pinned, please inform any of the mods and explain why it needs to be pinned, and we'd be more than happy to assist you.
COMMON COURTESY
Although most, if not all of the JKJ-NOW members are smart and courteous individuals, it cannot hurt to list down what we ought to do to maintain that atmosphere.
- Please respect other members, as well as the staff here on JKJ-NOW. If you have issues with a particular member, do not argue with them in a thread. PM a Mod or Admin regarding your problem. We are all here to have fun and a little common courtesy goes a long way.
- In lieu of the historical Broe vs. Phloe board wars that have ensued in the internet community, a post with the intention of provoking a war with any fanbase at JKJ-NOW will NOT be tolerated. This includes posts that we feel may provoke a "war" whether intended or not. The thread will be reviewed and modified or deleted immediately at the discretion of the moderators. Continuous violation of this guideline will result in the offending party being permanently denied membership.
-There will be no bashing of any fanbases or actors of any kind. JKJ-NOW is home to many loyal and new Jay Kenneth Johnson fans who support his character, Philip, in many different ways. Be respectful of the opinions of others.
- In addition, please do not FLAME (posting in all capital letters). Flaming is considered shouting in online communities and it is considered very rude. Nonetheless, some of our members may have difficulty seeing the text on their computer monitors if not written in ALL CAPS so please do not take that against them.
- All forum board rules apply to PMs as well. This means no lewd behavior. Anyone abusing other members through PMs will be severely dealt with. If you receive a disturbing PM from another member, please forward the PM to an Admin.
- If a Mod or Admin contacts you about a post, topic or any other matters, please take it seriously. They are doing this for the good of the site. Please do not reply nastily to the person who has contacted you.
SIGNATURES & AVATARS
- For all Members, Mods, and Admin, the maximum image size for avatars is 64x64 pixels and the maximum image size for signatures is 300X100 pixels. That way, you can get faster-loading pages for everyone's convenience. We shall be informing those whose signatures exceed this maximum size to modify their signatures.
- Do not take personalized signatures or avatars. This includes editing other's works.
If you are not sure about anything, please feel free to PM any of the Mods/Admin and tell us your problem. Feel free to send us your comments and suggestions on this site as well so we'll know what to do to serve you better. Thank you very much.
