Congrats, Steve! I'm assuming S.O. is you and it's beautifully written so that gave it away. It's a wonderful letter about Jay. He's lucky to have such supportive people in his corner like you. Here's the letter on pg. 108: The Right StuffFor much of the past two years, Days of our Lives has wasted the talent of Jay Kenneth Johnson [Philip]. In the 2/9 episode, however, we viewers finally got to experience - for the first time in months - the scope of the actor's depth, versatility and range. When Philip was confronted with Stephanie's disappointment, Johnson showcased Philip's conflicting emotions of rage, hurt, and vulnerability with intense realism. It was a powerful and chilling, yet subtle, performance, and one I hope will be up for Emmy consideration next year. [Executive Producer] Ken Corday recently stated that Johnson is important to the future of Days. Let's hope the writer's act upon this endorsement with material worthy of a very gifted, yet inexplicably underutilized actor. S.O., via the Internet Note: In the same issue beginning on pg. 62, there's a four page article covering the entire history of the character Philip Kiriakis.

Yup, that's me - thanks, Mindy. With a few minor changes (they said Johnson while I said Jay, etc.) it's pretty much intact. I have a problem locating SOD in my area now - not sure why. I hope to come across a copy so I can check out the 4 page history on Philip - thanks for letting us know.
