Thanks for the info Steve. I went to the site and left a question for Jay but there are over 130 questions there already-----so I'm not really expecting any answer. It's GREAT that he's taking part in this "chat" though.

I saw your question, Janice - good one. (They're up to 139 comments/questions at present.)
It's the first live 'chat' Jay's participated in for at least 5 years, possibly 6.
For those who won't be online tomorrow at the appropriate time, NBC does archive the chats - check the left hand side of the screen. They may actually leave the Q & A's on that screen for a time, then archive them when they post about the next live 'blog.'

I just posted a question myself. Looking forward to seeing - and reading - the blog.

I sw one question about "Scrubs" that they had called him but there was a schedule conflict. I hope being on Days doesn't hurt his chances at Scrubs.

ANOTHER opportunity lost thanks to DOOL. I really want to see him on more episodes with MORE airtime on Scrubs this upcoming season. I hate to think that because of Days, that may not happen---not just with Scrubs but other shows as well.

I hate to think that because of Days, that may not happen---not just with Scrubs but other shows as well. That's something we can all write Ken Corday, Hogan Sheffer, Ben Silverman, etc. about - we want Days to work with Scrubs in terms of scheduling, to allow Jay the opportunity to do BOTH. We need to stress the importance of Jay being seen on Scrubs, to the people behind Days - i.e., the cross promotional benefit Days would get out of it. Also, we need to let NBC know that Jay is a true asset to the network - one they need to recognize and treat accordingly. I've been mentioning all that in recent e-mails and letters. If enough people do the same, it could help. Steve

I loved hearing from Jay on this chat!!! Nice to hear him reminesce about his first run on days and about Chloe. I hope that what they said in SOD is true and that they are going to get Nadia to come back for a storyline with Jay. Phloe was the best! And he was right, dool did ruin his chracter the first time around....
Also excited that Jay is getting a good storlyine for the fall. It just kinda sucks that right when his storyline at Days is heating up he gets a call from Scrubs. For the past few months his character was barely seen and now when he gets an opportunity to do something else, he has to let it go for Dool. It just really sucks, I feel bad for him, he always seems to lose good opportunities.
Anyway, did I read right.....that he is going to be doing a blog soon like Steve(Patch) and Alison(Sami)...that would be really cool to read his behind the scenes stuff.....

You would think DOOL and Scrubs could work something out. It's the same network and Jay is only on Days once or twice a week.
All we can do is write people at both shows about this scheduling problem. I hope it doesn't happen again. This is twice that I'm aware of!!

Since the above link isn't permanent (it will be used for the next, upcoming Days blog), here's the archival link: blog.nbc.com/days/2007/08/Steve
