Using the NBC Days feedback screen, I just contacted Days, asking them to PLEASE show more of JAY KENNETH JOHNSON!! (that's what I typed in the subject heading.) In the past two weeks, Jay's been on twice - once each week. Corday tried for close to a year to get Jay to return. He agreed - and he's been doing exceptional work. Why, suddenly, is Philip MIA? I then sent the same message, via e-mail to Kevin Reilly, Pres. of NBC Entertainment (Kevin's in charge of the network's prime time and daytime divisions.) To access the NBC feedback screen: www.nbc.com/Footer/Contact_Us/Kevin Reilly can be reached at: kevin.reilly@nbcuni.com PLEASE contact Days, let the powers that be know we want more Jay. He returned, and he deserves to get the screen time, and the story line, worthy of his talent. (I commented on how much I enjoyed today's show - the interaction between Philip and Kate. I expressed my hopes that this marks a new direction for the character.) Thanks! Steve

Thanks for the info and the links, Steve............. I just wrote to both about the lack of airtime for Jay and the lack of a good storyline for Philip.... I'm really so disappointed that Jay has virtually disappeared from the show these last two weeks.... especially since Corday and Hogan worked so hard and so long to get Jay to return as Philip......... Jay's been giving such incredible performances - especially moving and touching today with Lauren - that I don't understand why he isn't given more airtime and a better storyline!

Just finished my letter to Jay - expressed how much I admire his work as an actor and his portrayal of Philip - but also let him know how disappointed I was with the way Philip's character is being written and how I wish Philip had his own story! I had written Corday, Sheffer, and Reilly also to let my feelings be known! We need to be active and let Jay et al know how we feel so that Jay will be given the opportunity to show everyone how talented and gifted he is as an actor!! If we want to see Jay be given this opportunity, and if we want to see more of Jay on Days than just once a week, then we need to write, write and write to let our feelings be known!!
Get involved and voice your concerns!!!

Thanks, Pags. According to the Early Edition, Jay is NOT on Friday's who. Meaning, he hasn't been on this week at all - in fact, he's only been on twice in the past THREE WEEKS. THAT is not acceptable. And when Philip IS on, it's more of the same - a prop for another storyline. THAT is not acceptable.
PLEASE write to Jay, let him know what you think. Please write to Corday, Sheffer, and Reilly, and express your views.
Thanks!
Steve
