Many of you have noticed, and posted about, Jay's lack of onscreen time. We're now in the midst of Jay's third prolonged absence from the small screen since his return in mid January of this year. (One time, he was off two full weeks.) Based on spoilers I've come across, it looks like Philip won't be on very much in the weeks ahead. We've mentioned our unhappiness re Jay's lack of onscreen time in threads and posts. Time to make Ken Corday and Hogan Sheffer stand up and take notice - WE WANT JAY!
Please take a few moments, to e-mail and/or mail the people on the following list:
jkjnowforum.proboards83.com/index.cgi?board=jaysupport&action=display&thread=1181781272
Ask in the e-mail subject heading . . .
Where's JKJ?
(Write the same on envelopes.)
OR - you could write . . . .
We Want JKJ!
Whatever you want to post, whatever says it best for you.
For the message, be creative - state what you feel. For instance, you could mention that Corday and Sheffer asked Jay to come back - and have totally misused and under-used him and his talent ever since. We want JAY - we want to see him onscreen, front and center. Mention you want to see him in his own storyline - state your preferences. I don't want him in the triangle - I want him far removed from Shelle. Others want Philip teamed with Belle. We may disagree on our storyline of choice, but we ALL agree on one thing - MORE JAY.
Corday and Sheffer begged Jay to come back. It was public knowledge - TV Guide Online, SOW, etc. posted about it during the summer and fall of 2006. They promised Jay a great storyline - what it was, I don't know. Jay returned, that great story never happened - and now, after tying up his time (Jay couldn't audition this past pilot season because of his Days commitment), they have regulated Jay to the back burner; Philip's become a mere supporting character only brought onscreen to prop two other characters, when/if they need him. That isn't fair to Jay - it isn't fair to us.
Let's BOMBARD the people on this list with e-mails and letters, to let them know how unhappy we are, and how they can fix the situation and make things right. I'm going to send out many e-mails, maybe a set every other day. I'm also going to write at the addresses provided. It's time we let Corday and Sheffer know we are fed up - and we want a change.
Thanks!
Steve
