It was refreshing to see Jay interact onscreen with different actors in today's show - his second scenes with James Scott (actually, the first time they exchanged dialogue) and his very first oncamera moments with Julie Pinson.
Tomorrow, he has more scenes with Lauren (he had scenes with her today), Bryan and Alison.
It's about time - I am SO thankful to see the writers expand Philip's onscreen interplay beyond Shawn, Belle and Willow.
And - it's truly great to see Jay back this week. He wasn't on long, but it was great to see him again. He's on tomorrow's show, and, I've heard, Friday's as well. (There are U.S. broadcast dates - these same episodes air one day early in Canada.)

ICAM Steve. It was indeed refreshing to see Jay have scenes with them. It's bittersweet though because it just leaves me wanting so much more.

It was refreshing to see scenes with Jay and Ali, as well. So refreshing to see him interact with different people. He has scenes in Monday's show with Joy Bisco (Gabby.) I look forward to that - though they seem to be scenes were Philip reverts back to the violent Phil we've seen the past weeks.
I like the concept of Philip being different, of him not being a nice guy. Just wish the writing allowed Jay to show different sides to Philip - not just the angry, volatile side.
